Case Study

Cafe V

The challenge

Originally starting off as a small juice bar called “Voltage Juice” located in the heart of Werribee. The owners of Cafe V wanted to reposition, refocus & rebrand their entire store into a more modern & sophisticated cafe with a niche menu that would make their customers think of “Home made cooking”. However the client noticed after several failed attempts of trying to reposition themselves as a cafe. That the perception in most of their customers minds was that they were still "just a juice bar" and didn't offer anything more than that.

The solution

For the time, Cafe V was one of the first cafes in Werribee to undergo a more modern & sophisticated branding update.
The clients wanted their store to stand out not only visually but also from an interior design perspective as well.
Another one of their main repositioned focus was to emphasize their quality strains of coffee & food that would remind you of “Home made cooking”. So several strategies were put into place to help convert new customers into brand advocates.

The entire store layout was changed to make the barista and brewing station the main frontal focus of the cafe and the juice aspect was abolished entirely to change the perception of the new and existing customers. Cafe V was repositioned as the "Experts in coffee brewing" for Werribee at the time.
